Our Story

Gilded Journey was founded by a former nurse who traded scrubs for gemstones many years ago. She is a Gemological Institute of America Diamond Grading Graduate and specializes in designing custom engagement rings and fine jewelry for daily wear. 

As a yogi, our founder struggled to find jewelry that could be worn to yoga class without being damaged. Our best-selling Active Lifestyles collection is designed to withstand today's busy life, including gym sessions, showers, and a lifetime of daily wear. The collection is extra durable, tarnish-resistant, and always sweat-proof. Our mission is to offer fine jewelry at accessible prices for all of life's seasons. 

We are female-owned and operated. We use female miners, gem cutters, gem dealers, jewelers, designers, and manufacturers whenever possible. We offer gemstones and diamonds that are ethical and fully traceable from the mines to your jewelry box. 

We source gemstones from all over the world and love the hunt for unusual stone shapes and colors for our custom jewelry requests. If it exists, we can find it!  We offer the option to design your custom jewelry one-on-one through virtual appointments or in-person appointments (in the Seattle area only). All of our custom jewelry is made in America using 100% reclaimed metals.
